A small suggestion regarding forums.

Hey everyone, been having a few discussions over the past few days in varying club chats about things and thought this would be a welcomed idea by most.

The general discussion forum is having a lot of suggestion posts (I know, major hypocrite for making my own), but there's no real other place to put it. I think it's about time we create a subforum for suggestions, and not just for specific platforms. This obviously would cut down on a bunch of the stuff posted into general, but it would also stop the posts being seen by those not wanting to look at suggestions.

If done properly, things could be constructive and move along ideas at a better pace than varying forum posts in the general chats. This could centralize the ideas into one area so people could post ideas and come together more as a community across all platforms to progress the game. Strict rules should be applied to keep each post on topic. This will keep people from straying off subject/etc and keep the conversations going between the players in a much more fluent manner.

What say you?

Class Name: Sneaky
Weapon Type: Bow
Class gem: M2 - each hit with a 10-fold accumulation, "Sneaky" shoots 5 arrows at each basic target.
Skills:
Passive: Invisibility - Out of combat would make Sneaky invisible, as soon as he enters combat he would lose this passive until he leaves combat for 10 seconds.
M2: Passive - With each hit, "Sneaky" rolls 10 times, the tenth time would gain a buff of damage in its basic attack.
1: Throw a charged arrow that would decay according to distance, the greater the distance the greater the damage. ("Damage based on your physical damage")
2: It would select an area, inside this area would fail to rain of arrows.

1: Jogaria uma flecha carregada que decairia de acordo com a distancia, quanto maior a distancia maior o dano. ("Dano baseado em seu dano físico")

Suggestion - Random Weekly Leaderboard Contest

I think it would be cool to have a weekly leaderboard contest that is random, and we don't know what it is until the very end of the week once people win. It could be one of the existing contests that goes through the rotation, like highest Dracolyte PR for example. This way there would be a reason for people to keep their gems on their current characters.

I think this should be self-explanatory.

Honestly, why is the Flower Power pack even 1500?

Sure, maybe it might seem to be worth less compared to, say, the Lunacy pack, but if you add up the individual values of every item in each pack, it's actually not that far behind.

Comparing it to some other class packs:

Flower Power Pack: 8250 credits
Necrofancy Pack: 8500 credits
Adventure Pack: 9250 credits
Pirate Pack: 8000

Valuing the Rich Fertilizer Factuary at 2500 credits (the same as the Insta-Grower Informational, though it isn't normally purchasable) and the Evergreen Evoker at 1250 (listed price on wiki, though it's not currently available ingame). The other items in the remaining packs are available normally.

The Lunacy Pack that it could be compared to values at an estimate of 11000 (Valuing the two fox mounts at 1625 credits each, the same as other store mounts without functionality). If you're going to change class pack values based on their contents, if anything you should make that one more expensive instead of making the others cheaper.

Really, you should just normalize them all at 3000 each.

That aside, even if you really want to keep the pack prices the same, either get rid of the completely useless Informational purchase, or reduce it to 1000 credits or something like that.

Can a 2 star emp gem on lvl 1 turn out to be a 3 star (on lvl 1)?

My question is, i found one 2 star emp gem. but when i leveled it to 15 it got a third "pentagon *" on stats (when i look in the bench)

does that mean it turned into a 3 star gem?
Hows that possible? it had only 2 stats when i found it

After a long time trove break (6months+) i come back and the razer synapse mouse bug is still not fixed?! seriously?! the game is unplayable! the camera is spazzing crazy.

Gues ill be holding off to come back to trove for another 6 months and pray to q'bthulhu this gets fixed.

and no, im not turning off synapse as trove should be a SUPPORTED game!

My SH now routinely hits at 1.54M each scrolling shot while in u9 dungeons. But in ST dungeons the scroll only reads 25111 each shot. And I think it is accurately reflecting the damage being done.
My CH is over 100% and CD over 1000% - perhaps there is some kind of rollover problem at those numbers, but I don't see why the environment should make a difference.

Is there any free item codes. I found one for the dino mount, so I was wondering if there was anything else I could grab free. Well if you know of anything please let me know, Im really enjoying this game an a little extra makes it a little bit better.

Dino Tamer is Busted in PvP

Compared to the other classes Dino Tamer's kill potential is preposterous. The other classes have to play around their positioning, cooldowns, and energy management to perform well; Dino Tamer can 1 shot over half the classes with an energy-less, 4 second cooldown AoE that once landed he can just bugger off. On top of that since he's energy less he can jump around all day and avoid half of the abilities thrown at him with no downside. It's just ridiculous how strong Dino Tamer is and I'm going to show you why.

Dino Tamer's sin against balance comes in its egregious M2, the 'clever snare', Don't be fooled, using this ability is completely braindead. The ability functions by throwing a net on the ground. You can charge it up through three stages over 2 seconds of holding the ability and once thrown it goes on a 4 second cooldown. Enemies who so much as graze this net receive the FULL duration of the debuff it applies, which is a DoT that ticks every 0.5 seconds dealing 200% of YOUR magic dmg to yourself over 3 seconds; when the dino tamer ults this changes to a always max size net that deals 425% of your magic dmg to yourself every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds. They both impair your movement speed as well!

So what do those numbers mean? Let's break them down.
My character has 2,378 magic dmg, 200% of that is 4,756 and 425% of that is 10,106.5. Multiply these by 6 since it ticks every 0.5 seconds and lasts 3 seconds and you get:
  • Dino Net without Ult dealing: 28,536 dmg.
  • Dino Net with Ult dealing: 60,639 dmg.

28.5k dmg on a 4 second cooldown with no energy cost!!! That's not to mention the dmg you'll be taking from his dino buddies and hazards/other enemies. If he ults the net 1 shots ANYTHING it touches. Not a single magic class can survive it, and most physical classes still die to it anyway.

This kind of damage is outrageous and an annoying dino tamer player is the only thing that'll get me to not participate in the match and just stay for XP. All the other OP classes can be worked around with good strategy, but a dino tamer can just walk by you, right click, then walk away because you're guaranteed to die.

I have played this game for many years off and on. Throughout those years, I've seen the economy go down hill. Honestly, who doesn't miss those days where you could farm resources or stellars and actually make a decent profit? I know I do. Instead, the only way to make any source of decent flux is to "Flip The Market".
Many of you may ask, "what does that mean?" The others may say, "Yeah, I know what that is. It's an awesome way to make flux!" Let me be clear on what exactly "flipping the market" really is. All you are doing is simply buying high discounted items from lower leveled players and reselling to those who have plenty of flux and/or don't know the actual price. Essentially, the only way to make money now is to rip off newer players or those who don't know the full price.

I have seen many many many friends quit the game all because they can not seem to make enough money to get higher Power Rank and/or Mastery Rank. All this new 'economy' does is make the rich players more rich and the poor players quit. You wanna bring more players? Fix the economy.

I might just be some kid that has no idea what he's talking about; I might just be right. What do you guys think about the economy in Trove? Do you think it's fair for ALL players?
