so i just found this video about Diablo 3 (another game i play)

i they have now are introducing this RNG system or is in their PTR atm....

i thought to my self... this exact same thing.... is pretty much what trove has....
we as a community have spoken out for Diamond dragon Eggs....
you the devs gave us the Fragments....

i would love it if you guys took the time to listen to this video.... from a RNG Stand point
from a BIG time dev of another game.... and maybe think about the CURRENT gem system...
or atleast keep this in mind for any new power systems coming soon™

I am not bashing you guys about how you are doing things currently... you are listening to us... thank you for that... but please watch this video for the informational insight into RNG :)

I know this has come up before, and i know that there are a few people who own this dragon and actually found 30 friends to play this game. However, with the recent update, Diaeson was given stats, so i'm bringing it up again. At the moment, 90% of all players have only two ways to obtain this dragon. The first, and well-known as disgraceful, is to run into low level worlds and post a text block on how you "get a free class coin with this one weird code". The whole idea of referring friends is bypassed by doing this, since these strangers found the game on their own, they were not referred by anyone, and the referrer gets rewards for cheating the system. Then there is the other option. Obtain ALL of the dragons in the game (except Diaeson) and then pay $50 for a pack you probably didn't want other than for the golden dragon effigy. For players on a budget, they are at an immediate disadvantage to those who can spend $50 willy-nilly, and must resort to the annoying and shameful task of begging random new players to get this dragon. I, for one, Love how this dragon looks, but i cant spend $50 to get it. The referral system is a great way to get new players in, but the system is broken. The reason it is there has been worked around and is no longer serving its purpose. Could there be any way simple budget players could work for getting this dragon legitimately (or even at a cheaper cost than $50), or could the referral system be Re-Worked? Since most people who own this dragon obtained it a way the system did not want them to get it, the dragon is given a bad rap, which is sad because it is a really cool dragon if it didn't make other players see a Scammer or Rich kid.

To anyone out there, I would love to see some ideas on how to fix the situation, or even how Trove Devs could make a good overhaul of the dragon's gimmick. Sorry for such a long post, i just had to put what was on my mind out in the open

Flux disappears whenever I move it or gain it

Time: I believe it started yesterday (Feb. 4th) but I only confirmed it today (Feb. 5).
Context: I'm playing on the Xbox One; the bug happens regardless of where I am.
Expected: I expected the 2500 flux I got from a lesser dragon cache to show up in my inventory; I also expected to be able to loot collect gear to gain the amount of flux it shows and move stacks of flux to different spaces in my inventory or between my chest and inventory.
Observed: The flux from the chest never showed up in my inventory, I can't gain any more flux in my inventory, and I cannot move flux without it disappearing.
Repro: If this isn't just a problem with my account: Reproduce this instance by trying to loot collect items for flux and/or moving flux from your chest to inventory (and vice versa).
Screenshots: I have a video on Xbox, but I'm not sure how to show that. I show the problem with loot collection in there, but due to the nature of the problem, I can't gain more flux now to be able to show other instances.

Returning player - a few questions

Hey guys, I'm just getting back into trove after 8ish months of hiatus and was hoping a few things could be cleared up to make returning a lot easier!


1. Back when I played, ranged classes were heavily weakened by the fact that ranged attacks would frequently not register and end up doing 0 damage and waste an ability or just a lot of time (this was worst on Shadow Hunter). Is this fixed?

2. What mods would you recommend?

3. Is endgame any different, or is it still the whole shtick with getting gems, upgrading them, then replacing them with better ones (all while praying to RNGesus that you get the right stats and that your upgrades succeed)?

4. Is stellar still the highest quality of gear?

5. Are there any new stats to be concerned about?

6. Have there been any significant changes to any classes/class gems or the endgame content?

7. What should the main focus be for someone at 12k PR other than getting better gems?

Please answer any of the questions that you can! Thank you all a bunch :)

Recipe to craft Azulian Dragon souls using coins is missing.

I assume this is the same on both consoles

When you go to the recipe requiring essence, you're unable to move right. You also can't move left from neon Dragon souls, or up from Selene. I'm assuming this is because there is a bug and that's where the recipe requiring dragon coins is.

A buddy of mine is having trouble linking his Xbox to his Trion account. When he logs into his account on pc it don't show him as having his console linked but on the Xbox it says it is...... does anyone know how to go about unlinking it and re linking his account to his Xbox again?

Hello,
is there Any way you guys can reset the props Because sounds like à club world call Shaztopia found a way to glitch you and control all of the ❤ in hub. We can only join shaztopia and there is no way Any other club ever get to the 57k like they have. Really Anoying. I think that those things should be reset every 2 or 3 month to give chance to other club to be seen

Empowered water gem slot broken on my Shadow Hunter

Time: Monday, February 6th, at 1:38 PM PST
Context: I attempted to socket water empowered gem on my Shadow Hunter class
Expected: I expected the gem to socket
Observed: It did nothing
Repro Steps:

Hard to reproduce, because it works fine on all my other classes (so far!)

1. Put empowered water gem in your inventory
2. Open Character screen
3. Press R1 to move to the gem screen
4. Select the Water empowered gem slot and press X to socket a gem
5. Select the water empowered gem from your inventory and press X to socket

Similarly, when I am on the gem screen I REPEATABLY crash when I try to unsocket the empty Water empowered gem slot.

1. Open character screen
2. Press R1 to move to the gem screen
3. Move cursor to the water empowered gem slot
4. Press square
5. Fill out another bug report (which I've done too :-))
