Battle Arena Creation Tutorials

So there are pretty much no clear, down to the basic tutorials.. and as much as id love to create a new club world to test creating one i don't have that luxury at the moment unless i use alts.. (Which i am not fond of) ~

Would anyone be able to spell out the basics of creating an arena in the form of..

Place biome> Use flattener > tool (be careful of x) > build arena (stuff outside of survey area or flattened area isn't included in the arena)

Type thang would be very useful and appreciated :D and i am sure some aspiring youtuber / twitcher may take it upon them selves to make a good easy to use tutorial for those of us wanting to make arena's but not risk damaging anything.
