flux guide for new players

I heard a lot of new players complain that it's hard to make flux and/or progress so i tried to make a little guide for them.
Flux = everything, the more flux the better gear you can buy/forge, more characters you can play and faster mastery progression.

If you're new you shouldn't farm dungeons to make flux, it's one of the worst moneymakers on low uber lvls, they're way more profitable on high ubers with decent magic find but for now you should not use that as your main source of flux.

First of all you should take advantage of the daily bonus while making flux, fishing on fishingday, mining on miningday, shadowtower on shardday ect.

Mining:
Farm shapestone and primordial flames in underground caves in dragonfire peaks and sell those on the marketplace.

Fishing:
Fish for 1 of the more expensive rare fish like the moonfish in skyrealm and sell those on tradeforums and/or tradechat, deconstruct all non rare fish in your lootcollector for glim and easy mastery.

Gardening:
Farm sunlight bulb or plant steedseed and sell those on the marketplace

Shadowtowers:
Do all of them them just once a week for the shapers vision boxes

Trading:
This will give you the most flux out of all the options if you know what you're doing so i will go a bit more indepth here but the main thing here is buy low and sell high.
If you want to take trading serious you should make an extra account and only buy marketplace slots with your cubits for him (you really need the cubits on your mainaccount for other things like emblems)
Make your own private club and trade between accounts using the officers chest.

First focus on just 1 or 2 items since you don't have that many marketplace slots, focus on an item that everyone needs because you can buy/sell those items way faster than expensive mounts and such.
Examples are tentacles, ore, sunlight bulb and remember the daily bonusses since that will affect the price quite a bit.

  1. Buy big and sell small: Big stacks are mostly cheaper than smaller numbers so buy big stacks and sell small stacks/seperate items.
  2. Make use of lazy people: Take pearl of wisdom for example, you can buy them at pirateships for 1000flux and sell them for more on the marketplace.
  3. Use different currenties when selling: Lets take that pearl of wisdom from our last exaple and instead of selling it for 1050/1100 flux we put it on the marketplace for 1 chaos chest. They won't sell that fast but at least 1-2 a day and that's 1600flux profit for just 1 quick sell
  4. Buy items at certain times/days: More people play in the weekends so worlddrops like mounts and aura's are cheaper those days, ore/gardening stuff is cheaper on daily bonus day, dragon caches are cheaper during challenges and so on.
  5. Switch market when needed: When there's too many people on 1 item the profits get a lot lower and you'll get undercut to much
  6. Undercut by the smallest amount possible: It doesn't matter if you undercut by 1% or 10% people will always buy the cheapest items so max out you profits and undercut by the smallest amounts possible,
  7. Buy chaos chest loot: This is something you should do when you have quite a bit of flux already, buy items that are in the chaos chest rotation of that week and sell them a few weeks later for higher prices.
Couldn't think of more easy ways for starters to make some flux so if you have any others let us all know.
Obviously people will use the examples i gave them in trading so don't complain when they don't work that well, it's because there's to many people on 1 item.
Just be smart, use the tips i gave you and find your own market.
