The Idea! :D
So I was thinking, and playing, and then thinking somemore and i thought to myself,"I'm tired of farming dust i just want to see loots droop! :D" And, so, I thought that an "Endless shadow tower" would be an awesome addition to the game! It would have a base cost of 500 Flux to open the portal. When you open the portal you have your waiting room with the Rejuv station and your storage and all that junk, and, you have the starting portal.
So you go into the portal, now you have your basic cursed skulls sitting in the middle of the room, you start it and you get a randomized set of enemies in 5 waves. Then, you get a random boss mob. It could be anything from a beefed up sky giant to the daughter of the moon.
You beat this boss, and there are celebrations of course and yaaaaay you beat the first wave, the easiest. After the boss dies you ( and your party} gain half of their total flask charges. and there will be 15 seconds till the next wave starts. Each wave thereafter will progressively become more difficult. however! Each wave you beat, you gain an additional 2-10 magicfind, depending on how far you are in the tower.
So you're going and going and all of a sudden! you die. You dropped those hit points like a weird looking ball of mushroom chunks. Well, luckily this is normal mode. you dont die forever. You just have to redo the wave, up to a maximum of three attempts/retries.
However if you are a brave soul and want to try the hard mode... You get the same number of flasks back after each wave, but, you have only one additional attempt on a wave and the mobs are noteably harder. but, of course with a higher reward. 4-20 mf per wave
and of course there are those masochistic few that like to see the world burn and be happy about it. For them there is {of course} ultra mode!!! You gain 20% of your total flasks after each wave of enemies, you have one shot at each wave and there is only 10 seconds between the waves. however! the reward and difficulty of the monsters are significantly increased. each completed wave of enemies grants 10-50 magic find :D
So i hope you guys like the idea and i hope we could see something like this in the near-ish future :3
