Trove wont start.

So after a couple of months i decided to start playing trove again. But the problem is its refusing to start, i dont know if its a previous update/hotfix (steam version and ive also tried glyph launcher non-steam)
Here is what happens:
I start glyph, then launch trove.
It starts and changes my cursor then immediately crashes and a window pops up saying "Trove has encountered an error".
ive tried restarting glyph, reinstalling it, restarting computer, validating game cache files on steam. NOTHING works, please help.
