So I decided to save up 1k of each box (about 3300 altogether) for todays update, the results aren't precise since I wasn't planning on making a thread like this (sorry), but I decided it may give some insight of gem farming with the patron karma bonus.
* In all of the boxes 3, ideal gems were received. That is to say 2 star, 3 statted gems without HR or %HP. Most of the 2 star gems had HR as one of their stats.
* Altogether I received about 13-15 2 statted gems, so around 1 in 200-250 chance to get a 2 statted gem.
* 2 of my 2 star gems had only 2 stats on them, though I decided to use them regardless.
* I received a fair number of 1* gems that had potential to be used as ok gems (not extremely low pr for a 1 star and without HR). Maybe around 15 per 1.1k opening.
I didn't really check the results of shadow/radiant drops, I regarded them as trash for time reasons and due to the fact that I had to get rid of existing saved gems to make room for opening these boxes. (I Have maxed chest and inventory space and still have sorting issues with gems :D).
Now personally I've been focusing on levelling as many characters to 30 as possible, hopefully after this week there's just going to be 1 more. Personally even with the improvements, when my goal is met, I'm not sure it's going to be worth my time grinding with the aim of getting really good gems. My opinion is to get good enough gems with decent stats. Of course others may think differently, but you also have to rely on RNG on levelling up the gems.
