I'm sorry, but the Pearls of Wisdom being changed from being too common, to being impossible to get- is absolutely ridiculous.
I honestly want to hear the conversation that was had about this. I feel like it sounded something like:
Dev 1: Hey guys, the Pearls of Wisdom are too common right now.
Dev 2: Oh yeah, you know what? We could make them cost 500-1000 Cubits each, or just increase their price a bit from the NPCs! That would balance it and make it reasonable since it technically takes 9 Pearls for one piece of equipment. It's the perfect solution!
Dev 1 & 3: Hmm.. Yeah, you see George, no that wouldn't work because then they might be a little rarer but guess what, we don't like common sense so no thanks to your reasonable idea.
Dev 4: Well, Pearls are too common eh? Here you go, now they don't exist. Happy Hunger Games Trove.
But in all seriousness can we get like a poll going or a petition or something because this is crazy!! 10k per Pearl and you need 9 for ONE piece of gear!? No thank you. So in this crazy time of need, I have devised a few options that could be taken to make the Pearls balanced.
Option 1: Keep the Pearls with the (stupid) drop rate they have now, but make them available to purchase in the Store for 500-1000 Cubits (not Credits mind you).
Option 2: Put the drop rate back at what it was and make the vendors sell it for a little more. Not some crazy stupid amount, but just enough so that not every Trovian's mom, dad, brother, sister, cat, dog and grandma has 10k of them.
Option 3: Make it so that Items you have that ARE pearled, can be deconstructed for 1 Pearl of Wisdom Fragment PER PEARL on that one item (ex. if I have a sword that has 3 pearls on it, and I deconstruct it, I would receive the normal things you would get from deconing the item, as well as 3 Pearl of Wisdom Fragments).
