Wonky sounds?

Has anyone else had trouble with your FX sounds? Since the patch today, I keep hearing a sound like being attacked or dropped on... but when I look around - nothing is attacking --- but, I still sound like I'm still getting hit anyway. Most annoying! The game isn't any fun to play when I have to turn my sound off in order to play. Anyone out there that can help me with this issue?
