Hi peeps!
Since 99% of posts are now complaining about and criticizing Mantle of Power and the tweaks that came with it. Many of these posts are also thoughtless, aggressive and rude. I'm quite tired of it and can imagine that the devs who poured so much time into MOP must be sick to death and quite disheartened by all the whining and complaining.
With that said, I would like to start a POSITIVE thread where we say what we like and enjoy about MOP and Trove in general (and maybe cheer up the devs a bit ^^).
So here goes... (There is a very short summary at the bottom)
I find the MOP changes to be really awesome, because......
( 1. ) The new gem system is great! I think the huge amounts of RNG finally gives us something to work towards over a longer period rather than getting max everything within a few weeks and then complaining about no endgame. Also, when you finally find that PERFECT gem, you will feel sooooo good :D
( 2. ) The emblem nerfs (particularly SS) were a great idea and now with the addition of gems, we can really try out different builds. Sure, there are only a few options, but before MOP we had only 1 option and there was no such thing as build diversity.
( 3. ) The buffing up of ST and Uber worlds (indirectly by nerfing emblems) and the addition of Ultra ST and Uber 7-9 will hopefully give us a more long-term challenge and I think this is excellent! Starting from scratch, one could crush endgame content withing a couple of weeks before MOP. I hope they add even harder content at a later date, to keep us challenged!
( 4. ) The new worlds, while not groundbreakingly different, offer at least a bit of variety and more places to go and that's a good thing. Let's hope for even more new areas coming soon!
( 5. ) The new dragons are also a cool idea and give us yet another new thing to achieve and work towards.
( 6. ) Lvl 30 as max level is great! I like that it takes long to lvlup aswell, as 1-20 was too quick.
Ok, I'm gonna cut this short for now and go play instead!
Summary:
All the new stuff added gives us so much more to work towards. We enjoy games like this, because there's so much cool content to unlock and the feeling of progression is a really good one! Without the feeling of progression, the game would be boring.
