Wearing a face (mask) or a hat gives you stats for battling.
But your costumes (preferably armor) is just a type of decoration and style for your character customisation. Kind of laughable to me, actually.
I'd suggest that a new kind of stat (mainly defense, which lessens enemies' damage) to be added to costumes, and make them the same as faces/hats/weapons (Able to upgrade weapon and stuff, etc.). Since armors can't be collected as loot, and can only be unlocked through levelling up and payment through stores, the level 1 armor of each class will be the medium for upgrading and stuff. (Basically it's the costume you actually are wearing, but you can change styles, like how you can change styles for weapons/faces/hats if you do not like the style of the weapons/faces/hats you have)
Very complicated or what?
Misconceptions:
No. *sigh
You didn't understand what I was saying.
I said that the starter costume for every class gets to be the medium, and you can upgrade it just like how you upgrade faces/hats/weapons. You can also change its style (For example, Starter Costume to Level 10 Costume), so it doesn't matter whether or not you have another costume or not, because you don't really need them. So even if this idea gets implemented, it does not affect the purpose of you buying costumes from the shop to customise your character.
